The out of pocket expenses to the patient depend on the details of the insurance coverage, including copays and deductibles.  The office staff will help assist in determining what these out of pocket expenses will be prior to your scheduled surgery. For procedures deemed to be cosmetic in nature, health insurance does not help defer the costs. The various procedures differ in cost, and are dependent on the fees for anesthesia. The time involved to perform the surgery also affects the cost of the procedure, and again the staff will be available to provide price quotes at the time of your consultation. Fees for surgical procedures, including copays for insurance cases, are due at your pre-op visit, which is typically scheduled 2 weeks prior to your surgery date.
