How can I know if surgery is right for me?
Your physician’s job is to tell you what surgery can do for you and to help you understand the risks. Only you can decide whether the operation is right for you and if It is likely to help you achieve your goal. Although there is no guarantee, if surgery is recommended your surgeon believes you will like the results. Still, the decision remains a personal one and you must make it.
Will my insurance pay for this surgery?
Insurance companies only pay for surgery if it is not considered cosmetic. Our insurance department can help you prepare the necessary forms for this benefit. But we remind you that your policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company, not between your insurance company and our office.

There is free parking adjacent to our building.
Do you accept insurance?
The majority of insurance companies deem aesthetic and laser surgery to be cosmetic in nature and not medically necessary. We will, however, provide you with the necessary forms to include with your own claim submission. Should any additional information be needed in order to further process your claim, the insurance company will contact us directly and the necessary forms and letters will be sent out on your behalf.

Why do I need a consultation?
All new patients are required to have an initial consultation that includes an examination and review of treatment options. During the consultation, you will receive information related to the specifics of your treatment, including pre- and post-operative care. A full skin analysis, including a product guide outlining your prescribed morning and evening skin care routines, may be provided. The cost of the treatment will also be discussed at this time.

Are lasers safe?
YES! Because the laser selectively treats the problem, the surrounding normal skin is not affected. Studies and experience have shown that laser treatment is safe even for infants as young as 2 weeks of age!
